About this project
I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which this project was created, the Turrbal and Yugara peoples. I honour their continuing connection to the land and waters. I pay my respects to elders past and present.
This is a crowdsourced map of free public water outlets—bubblers, drinking fountains, public taps. hobby project created and maintained by Amari Low (Circlejourney). While it was started in Meanjin (Brisbane), feel free to add pins from elsewhere in the world. Each new pin will be checked and verified. Currently, a review feature is in the works. You can also email concerns to cj@circlejourney.net.
How do I add a bubbler or drinking fountain?
- Ensure the bubbler is open to public use and not on inaccessible private property.
- Tap on the rough location of the fountain and enter your nickname and a description.
- The description should describe where it can be found, as well as what kind of wateroutlet it is (bubbler/fountain/tap/dog bowl).
